The Chevrolet Cosworth Vega is a subcompact four-passenger automobile produced by Chevrolet for the 1975 and 1976 model years. It is a limited-production version of the Chevrolet Vega, with higher performance.
Chevrolet developed the car's all-aluminum inline-four 122 cu in (1,999 cc) engine, and British company Cosworth Engineeringdesigned the DOHC cylinder head. 5,000 engines were built.
3,508 cars were made. They were priced nearly double that of a base Vega and only $900 below the 1975 Chevrolet Corvette.
The Cosworth Vega came out of left field and showed the world that, indeed, Chevrolet could build a quality small car with a performance pedigree. A mere 2,061 were produced in 1975, and this one is number 549. Unrestored, it has only traveled 15,300 miles since it rolled out of the showroom and retains most of its original paint. The black and white interior is original, and an 8,000 RPM Sun tachometer keeps drivers informed of critical engine speeds. Outside, the black paint is complemented by gold trim—a signature item for the Cosworth Vega—including the wheels. The twin-cam, 2.0L inline 4-cylinder engine is fed by a Bendix electronic fuel-injection system and breathes out of a stainless-steel header, while a 4-speed manual transmission ushers power to the rear wheels with ease. A torque-arm rear suspension offers a compliant ride and stable handling, and the entire package truly turned the mild-mannered Vega into a world-class machine. Passengers will enjoy the AM/FM radio and bucket seats. Cosworth Vegas are prized today for their blend of rarity and ‘70s small-car performance.

Highly resonant with the buying public in 1949, Ford’s restyling was the first herald of America’s major postwar automotive redesigns. Vehicles like this two-door wood-sided wagon also benefited from the new “lifeguard body” steel undergirding, and this wonderful car has been restored. Power comes from a classic 239 CI flathead V-8 engine, with its downdraft carburetor and oil-bath air cleaner. A driveshaft replaced the aging torque-tube design, and this woody features the 3-speed manual transmission with a column-mounted shifter. In keeping with growing families, this wagon came with the third-row seat, with niceties like electric wipers, in-dash clock and radio. There is a rear-mounted spare tire, bumper guards, the new-for-’49 styling and the bullet-nose grille, with the paint work in a complementary cream tone. Riding on painted steel wheels with wide whitewall tires, chrome hubcaps and trim rings, this was a prized possession for its first owner, and it certainly should be one for you as well.

Ford Deluxe Convertible 1938, Estados Unidos

Ford Deluxe Convertible 1938, Estados Unidos
Motor : 221 CI
Exterior : Vinho (Bright Coach Maroon)
Interior : Marrom

HIGHLIGHTS
·         Rumble Seat Convertible
·         221/85 HP Flathead V-8 engine
·         Stromberg 97 carburetor
·         Floor-shifted 3-speed transmission
·         Banjo steering wheel
·         Clock in glovebox door
·         Heater, AM radio
·         Bright Coach Maroon with Beige soft top
·         Brown leather interior
·         Wooden dash and interior trim
·         Maroon painted 16-inch artillery wheels
·         Chrome V-8 center caps and trim rings
·         Bias-ply 6.00-16 wide whitewall tires

The 1938 model year was a little confusing at Ford; sales dipped a bit due to the recession, but the carryover of the 1937 styling while introducing a grille design unique for the upscale Deluxe models also turned customers off. The Deluxe, with its upgraded interior and grille, did very little to interest customers and, as such, not as many 1938 Fords were sold, and fewer remain today. This Deluxe convertible is powered by the 221/85 HP flathead V-8 engine with a Stromberg 97 carburetor and 3-speed manual transmission with floor shifter. Presented in Coach Maroon with a tan top, the brown leather interior matches the body and offers passengers a remarkably comfortable environment, particularly from an entry-level brand. A rumble seat offers a little extra seating, and the banjo steering wheel, glovebox-door mounted clock, heater, AM radio, wooden dash and interior trim, and more exemplify exactly how well equipped a Deluxe Ford could be. Bias-ply 6x16 wide whitewall tires on this Ford wrap color-matched steel wheels adorned with chrome trim rings and V-8 caps, rounding out this classic Ford.
