The 2013 New York Auto Show unveiled the 2014 Camaros with a refreshed body style and a return of the Z28 model. Styling improvements included a thinner grille along with a larger lower front fascia and tail lights that took cues from the first-generation Camaro. This Summit White 2015 Camaro Z28 represents the last year of fifth-generation Camaro production and an evolution of that 2013 introduction, and it’s based on the same performance chassis components and engine.

The 2015 Camaro Z28 adds more aggressive front and rear spoilers to increase downforce at speed, the rear spoiler finished in black to contrast the white body. The center of the hood is raised and finished in black with rows of louvers to allow hot air to exit the engine compartment. The black interior features power Recaro sport seats with suede inserts, a full center console with short throw shifter, optional air-conditioning, 6-speaker sound system and an instrument panel equipped with a tachometer and 200 MPH speedometer to handle the maximum speed potential of the Z28. Ribbed aluminum pedals help to secure the controls. The standard engine of the Z28 is a naturally aspirated LS7 7.0L OHV V-8 that produces 505 HP, and it’s the same engine that powered the C6 Z06 Corvette. The top of the engine features red letter accents identifying it as a 427. Large, round exhaust tips appear at the black openings at either side of the rear fascia. Power is sent to the rear axle by way of a Tremec 6-speed manual transmission.

The chassis of the Z28 includes Torsen limited-slip differential and Performance Traction Management System to improve lap times at the track. This Camaro is supported by Z28-specific black-spoke wheels mounted with Pirelli P Zero Trofeo R high-performance tires kept in check by Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes with front cooling ducts. This Camaro Z28 shows 2,052 miles on the odometer and stands ready for any kind of action or challenge on the street or at the track.
