While Maserati has focused mainly on high-performance GT and luxury cars since the extremely low-production MC12 of 2004-2005, the marque unleashed its newest supercar, the MC20, in September 2020 in Modena. Offered with its metric odometer reading 1,115 kilometers, about 692 miles, this 2022 Maserati MC20 is powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.0L V-6 engine rated at 621 HP and 538 lb-ft of torque. Dubbed “Nettuno” in honor of Maserati’s iconic Neptune’s Trident logo and rich heritage, the MC20 engine delivers fabulous performance that is consistent with the marque’s legendary racing roots.
Power and performance are delivered by an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Other cutting-edge features include an electronic limited-slip differential and double-wishbone sport suspension with active dampers and front lift system. Published performance data includes 0-60 MPH acceleration in 3.5 seconds, an 11.7-second quarter mile, 1.05 G road holding and a breathtaking 202 MPH (326 KPH) top speed. A chrome-plated stainless steel exhaust system removes spent combustion gases, and a set of 4-wheel disc brakes with cross-drilled rotors and gray calipers delivers stopping power. Launch control and selectable drive modes provide a thrilling experience on command.
Finished in stealthy Grigio Mistero (Mystery Grey), this MC20 features a premium Nero (black) leather interior accented by extended Alcantara with laser effect. The heated front seats feature “Trident” headrest embroidery, and accents include the interior carbon fiber package. Other features and amenities include dual-zone automatic climate control, Premium sound, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and the 10.25-inch Maserati Intelligent Assistant with navigation, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Exceptional usability is via the remote start system, Keyless entry and go, a frameless digital rearview mirror, auto-dimming exterior mirrors, a HomeLink universal garage door opener, a carbon fiber and Alcantara sport steering wheel with manual tilt column, LED headlamps and tail lights, front and rear parking sensors, and a rearview camera with dynamic gridlines. Exterior features include the carbon fiber engine cover and rear spoiler, as well as active aerodynamic aids. Riding on diamond-cut, 20-inch Birdcage wheels with a glossy black finish and Bridgestone Potenza summer tires, this ultra-modern supercar exemplifies Maserati panache, luxury and performance.
