Propaganda
Original vintage travel poster advertising Deutsche Lufthansa featuring a dynamic Art Deco style illustration of a propeller plane marked with the Lufthansa crane logo and German Nazi swastika flag (*) on the tail, flying at speed in front of an image of a lady shooting a bow and arrow in red on the green and yellow shaded background, the bird logo in white with the stylised text below reading: Hurtigt til Maalet Deutsche Lufthansa Generalrepraesentant for Danmark Det Danske Luftfartselskab AS / Fast to the Goal Deutsche Lufthansa General Representative for Denmark Det Danske Luftfartselskab AS. (*Note: the 1935-1945 flag of Germany featuring the swastika has been covered in the image but appears as originally printed on the poster itself.) Formed in 1926, Deutsche Luft Hansa A.G. became Deutsche Lufthansa in 1933; the company's crane logo was designed by Otto Firle in 1918.
Nota do blog: Posteriormente encontrei um poster que mostra a suástica (imagem 2 do post), Por mais que a Lufthansa tente dizer o contrário, a empresa teve, sim, relações com o regime nazista.
