It only weighs a bit over 3,000 pounds, and it has a 427/425 HP V-8 engine under the hood. The engine is set up with a Winters aluminum intake manifold, a 4-barrel carburetor, a 4-speed manual transmission, a 12-bolt rear end and a dual-exhaust system. Power brakes help keep things somewhat civil and, interestingly, this car is actually not all brawn—inside, the bucket seats are split with a wood-grain center console, an AM radio brings in the sounds of yesteryear, and headrests, seat belts and tinted glass provide a little more safety. Presented with a white exterior over a black interior, the look is classic, understated and simple, but make no mistake, this Camaro is ready to boil the road. The special ducted hood and front and rear spoilers indicate those intentions, but only slightly. Rolling on 14x7-inch Rally Wheels and radial tires, this Camaro offers a lot of performance.
