Maybe you are a big-block guy.
The equipment on the 1970 AAR ‘Cuda was exclusive to that model, and it came
only with one engine, the 340 Six Pack. If there is no replacement for
displacement in your world, this no-reserve E-body with a whole extra 100 cubes
under the hood may be right for you. Strikingly refinished in Lemon Twist
Yellow paint with black AAR-style striping, this would have been the way to fly
if the factory had offered the 440 Six Barrel as an option in this model. Under
that unique hood is a worked Chrysler 440 with the classic triple Holley
2-barrel induction atop an Edelbrock aluminum intake. Parts from Mopar
Performance and Accel are visible as well, showing this off as a street
bruiser, and it boasts a side-mount-style exhaust system reminiscent of the factory’s
AAR-only design. Behind that is a 4-speed manual transmission topped a by Hurst
Pistol Grip shifter mounted to the floor, and power brakes with front discs
will help slow you down after hearing the engine breath heavy. The detail on
the outside is unique to this build, but it features styling cues like hood
pins, the AAR-type chin and rear-deck spoilers, color-coded front and rear
bumpers, body-color-matched side mirrors and added 440 Six Pack hood callouts
on the AAR-design scoop. Inside this car you will find black vinyl front bucket
seats, the pod-type dash layout with wood-grain applique, a radio-delete plate,
the sport steering wheel and custom-logo carpet mats. Similar to the factory
package, this car features Rallye wheels, but the rubber selected is from the
old-school tradition: Uniroyal Tiger Paw tires. Of course, there will be some
purists who might think this car would be better served with a 340 small-block,
but we know better and so do you—click on the key and let the big-block roar.
